AWC Basel's Patchwork group has been meeting for over 30 years in Basel, Switzerland.  This dedicated group has evolved with many different members' hands over the years and this past spring they dedicated their energy and talents to the FAWCO Heart Pillow Project.

On October 28, forty club members attended the final showing of Giuseppe Verdi's famous opera, La Traviata, at the Teatro Regio in Torino. This event was especially memorable because our very own IWCT member, Laurie Feldman, produced the show!

We have several "fun" and fund raising events at the AWCD every year. Our first event is usually our October Penny Raffle. For this raffle, we urge everyone in the Club to bring in a gift worth 25 Euros. If someone does not have a gift, she usually contributes money for prizes.
